BOTW #77 – Father Howl
San Franciscans, Father Howl, bring great contributions to the instrumental/experimental music world with their self-titled full length album. Upon first listen, their record feels like what I would hear in my head while digesting the art in the Seattle Art Museum. Father Howl tunes would also be suitable for the score of a super indie and obscure documentary.
As corny as it is to say “when words fail, music speaks,” this is totally true to Father Howl. The band succeeds in portraying so many emotions and layers through their instrumentals and leaves the interpretations to their listeners.
