BOTW #84 – Willow

You probably know Will Smith’s daughter, Willow, as the kid who sang the wildly viral “Whip My Hair” a few years back, but she has clearly grown out of that stage. Willow just put out a three song EP, appropriately entitled “3,” and it is SO good. Willow is beyond her years, and her maturity shows through her music as well.

Her new indie-R&B/neo-soul vibe is definitely something I can jam to – think India Arie meets Corinne Bailey Rae meets Yuna. Willow’s vocals shine throughout the three songs with her soulful tone and she totally sounds like she is in her element.
