Not many 21-year-olds have The X Factor judging experience, FOUR chart-topping studio albums, hit TV shows, stellar movies, a New York Times Best Seller book, a nail polish line, and nearly 21 million Twitter followers. Then again, only one 21-year-old I can think of has pulled this all off — Demi Lovato.
Not only can can this girl belt a killer pop vocal tune, she has got MAJOR range (piano/guitar/drums/DAT VOICE), she writes her own music, and performs with such passion and ferocity. The Neon Lights Tour is essentially Demi’s “Greatest Hits (SO FAR)” tour, where she highlights hits and fan favorites from each of her four albums. Although all of these tunes were familiar to everyone in the jam-packed stadium, they have all been re-imagined and rearranged with the help of her good friend and musical/creative director, Nick Jonas, who ALSO made a special appearance during her set! NO BIG DEAL. A #Nemi acoustic duet of “Here We Go Again,” a slow-jam version of “Remember December,” a key change in “Nightingale” (like, how could she possibly sing ANY higher than she already does??), and a fist-pumping rendition of Frozen’s “Let it Go” are just a few of the musical treats you will get on this tour!
