BOTW #66 – Birdy

At the ripe age of 18, British singer-songwriter, Birdy, has already released two full-length records and is featured on the soundtrack of the blockbuster hit, The Fault in Our Stars. Her subtle, yet haunting vocal timbre, is reminiscent of Florence Welch, while the delivery of her lyrical work seems so mature for someone so young.

Most of Birdy’s discography consists of mellow piano/string arrangements that would make a perfect soundtrack to any rainy Seattle day or lazy Sunday. Check out her latest release, “Wings.”
