Sam Smith – In the Lonely Hour Tour [CONCERT RECAP] 9/25/14

When I first heard Sam Smith’s voice as the featured artist on Disclosure’s “Latch,” I knew this guy was going to be in the game for a while. He announced his North American tour dates all before his massive hit “Stay With Me” slayed the radio, and having only booked The Paramount, the show quickly sold out.

Having the opportunity to watch Sam Smith in an intimate venue like The Paramount (when I say “intimate,” I mean small compared to stadiums that he could be playing at) was such a treat. It felt like I was witnessing a legend blossoming right before my eyes. Every single song was performed with class, soul, and vocal finesse that is hard to come by these days. Give this guy some Grammys already!

Sam Smith returns to Seattle on February 2, 2015 to take on the Key Arena.
