BOTW #82 + CONCERT RECAP – Tom Eddy

srIMG_2272

Tom Eddy is making some big waves in Seattle music. You may have seen Tom fronting electronic/dance band, Beat Connection, or maybe even his soul/funk outfit, The Dip. Either way, these two ensembles have made a name for themselves having played most of the Seattle venue circuit and Capitol Hill Block Party.

On his venture as a solo artist, Eddy does not disappoint. With a smooth and soulful vocal fashion reminiscent of a young Paolo Nutini, and musical style that is jazzy, beach-y, and poppy all at once, Tom Eddy is totally ready to take on the adult contemporary charts. To give you an idea of his vibe, it felt like Tom and the band was about to break out into Toto’s “Africa” any second – the grooves were on point. The only con to his “Seeing Someone”/”Sunday Market” release is that there are only two songs. Check them out!

Peace, Love, & Rock n’ Roll,
A-Tran \m/
